Our business model is predicated on learning about new innovations long before they come to market so that we can help our clients adopt them for transformative change. This not only requires passion for new innovations on the part of our staff but also a substantial investment in building early adoption projects. At the first availability of Alpha or early Beta releases, AIS invests to build early contextual knowledge of the innovation. Our clients benefit greatly from this AIS investment and often become early adopters themselves. Later during public beta or general release, AIS together with Microsoft and our clients invest in building early adoption projects.
Today our areas of focus in innovation include the following:
- The cloud in general and Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services specifically for solutions in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Mobile applications for both operating in a browser supporting all multi-touch gestures and well as within the Apple iOS, Microsoft Windows 8/Windows Phone 8 and Android platforms.
- Specific Microsoft major product releases with SharePoint 2013 and CRM 8 & 9 as primary areas.
Examples of innovation projects at AIS are the subject of many published materials in this site and in our blog.
